Before I try and explain it I’ll just put the screenshot up what’s y’all’s thoughts?
I can`t help you on your auto trans...But wonder
what that Instrument Cluster screen shot is from?
I have an 85 and 86, and no way is it the same.
That is from some newer truck.
Got fluid in it? Some newer fords use an unserviceable filter and magnet. After say 50000 miles the synchros get full of metal shavings and, well, the trans is shot. The manual says 90k is so for fluid change, maybe even 120k in some cases. Most guys are having to do 30k.
Well, that is an 11-14 F-150 with the 6 speed in it.
I would do a service on the transmission. If that is running empty, that's s bit high. I don't think I have ever seen over 170... I have 2 of these trucks.. and the transmission is solid. Is this yours or are you trying to pick it up? Which engine? I would also pull the codes and see what that CEL is telling you.
Guys I just sat here for 15 minutes trying to make sense of what I posted
Okay so the screenshot was about a 1985 f250 I don’t know how my company truck cluster pic got put up
