Actually they are no longer available. Discontinued item.
But maybe Calvin can show us all how to convert a standard TOB into a grease-able one. Because I'd sure like to know for my ZF5 swap. I just ordered my TOB and Kevlar pilot bearing from souttbend clutch today. Those suckers arent cheap! Almost 80 bucks shipped.

Unfortunately, they (Ford) never pressed for regular maintanance of the TOB. If you manually lube yours regularly (yea - it's a pain. you have to pull the fork and stick your hand in there) that won't happen.

You'd be surprised how much difference it makes in clutch pedal effort. But, the lube only lasts so long. Mel's right.....it is a PITA, but it needs to be done. I do it with every oil change. I kept the plastic rod retainer on slave cylinder when I replaced it last year. It makes the job less of a PITA to just use that retainer when removing/replacing the slave cylinder.

That plastic retaining strap is a lifesaver. I wish there was a way to buy them seperately.

No Doubt! That little sucker should be in every autoparts store. It's really sucks to wrestle the slave cylinder on and off with that rod fighting you the entire way.
