Part of the reason for the clean, sleek lines, is this is "designed" for use with a 6.0. Underhood space on a 6.0 is at a premium. Most of these kits are designed to be mounted on the passenger side of the radiator, on the core support, between the radiator, CAC Piping and the passenger side battery. That is one of the few places there is even enough room to mount a filter head and a filter. I've been looking at one similar, but that price is much better. Thanks for the link.

That's nice. I think mine will be pretty slick as well. I'm doing some test bits right now. :sly

Lol I was gonna say something at first, but I thought you knew when you posted it.
Mishimoto makes one also. Gives you a choice on hose color too.

I bought this system. On the 7.3 92 F250 with AOD and the heater return hose with the 1/2 inch reduction branching to the lower right radiator barb fitting, any reason not to hook up the 1/2 inch tee supplied in this kit directly in place of the original equipment 1/2 inch hose section in that position? It would use the T-hose originally designed for the degas bottle on the 6.0? The other line hooks right into the heater inlet hose 5/8 inch. I'm building a bracket to hold it next to the fuel filter. Thanks Sam
Special thanks to Al (Riotwarrior) for making the trip from Canada to meet up and help me out with the oil cooler.

That was my plan at first, but since the hose supplied in the kit is 1/2 inch, thought why not use it there instead of blocking off that 1/2 inch barb? It would be easier and maybe the torque converter would warm up sooner as Ford intended?
