I can not say enough how much Amy and I apprciate everyone who helped us this weekend. Whether it was hands on, info gathering, help offers or prayers and well wishers, we are deeply indebted.

Special recognition to Russ, Rob, Adam (Rob's buddy who volnteered his garage and tools), Denzel (Russ's friend who bailed on his wife even though they were without kids for the weekend) Darrin, Mel, Chris (I didn't even know what to say to him. I've never met him, he's posted 1 time here, but offered to take off Friday night from Illinois and bring a transmission so we could get home). And anyone else who just wished us well or whatever.

My parents and in-laws are amazed with all of you as well.

Once again, thank you.

Barney, we we're glad to help. Being 300 miles from home with a broken tow vehical has always been one of my fears. Glad you made it home. BTW I almost called you. I blew a tire on the trailer about 20 miles from home, second tire in as many trips. I guess they all need replaced. Hopefuly we'll be able to Geauga Lake together some time. Happy travels.

Glad to hear you made it home Barney! We were thinking about you all weekend. My wife was explaining to her mother what had happened to you all, and she told her matter of factly that there was no doubt everything would be all right. I added that I was sure somebody would take a transmission to you if need be, even though I had not a clue if it was possible or in the works. I see I was not wrong, and everything went as expected!
