Some of you have read my story on another thread about losing the use of my legs on July 4. Some of you probably haven’t but that’s not what this post is about. This post is actually just to recognize somebody who has been absolutely freaking amazing. You know him as @Nero. It was by happen chance a few months ago that we found out we live about 200yds from each other. He has helped with a few things with my truck here and there. But today he blew what it means to be neighborly and just a good person away by far. The fan went out on my Volvo and I was able to talk someone into pulling one at the wrecking yard for me since I can get around in it in my wheelchair. I was trying to pull the old one out and damage my radiator cause I wasn’t quite able to see what I was doing as I was sitting in my chair and didn’t have a good point of view. We had plans to grab a beer and watch some live music and told me let’s reschedule and get this installed tonight. That was at 4pm and 5.5 hours later I drive my Volvo back into my driveway. Saying thank you or paying someone sometimes just isn’t enough so I wanted to tell everyone and give him some recognition for what he’s done for me.
