Well I finally got it fixed and didn`t have to set it on fire. One electric fuel pump, one new check valve, 2 new batteries and a new starter and it will now spin about 1/4 turn and light right off. I didn`t ever think I was going to get the old starter out because it had such a long nose on it but after some hand to hand combat I finally got it out. The new one was a lot shorter and fell right in place. I had expected the usual winding and winding, coughing, clouds of blue smoke, bucking and jerking but it lit right off. Damn near scared me to death. All I can say is thanks guys I couldn`t have figured it out without you.

Congrats on getting it back to a reliable, quick starting, enjoyable part of your fleet. Gotta love finding an annoyance and fixing it.

This is a cool place!

Have a good one.
