I'm absolutely shocked. Not 6 inches away the frame is literally gone, but the bolts still came out of the driveshaft with very little fight.

I had an old 300 straight 6 with 350k miles, when the clutch exploded I decided it was best to just part it out. There's pics on here somewhere. I found 2 places in the frame where the previous owner had bondo'd the frame rails and stuck little sheets of plate steel in so it could pass the magnet test in PA for safety inspections. That's dedication, but not exactly for the right reasons. At least weld in some junk and then bondo over that, this was just "floating" steel. Rust and rot is terrible.
