We'll welcome you with open arms! I hope you won't miss the snow too much. LOL

This is going to be one heavy duty sucker!
I sincerely hope it's my last winter here!

Yeah, I sort of have issues with building things slightly, how do you say... overkill. I don't think I shared the grill guard I built out of brushed 1 1/4" sch 40 stainless pipe & powder coated 1/2 plate

Not driving the truck today but around San Diego celebrating the Gf’s birthday. Happened to pass the Gear Vendors (over/under drive!) shop on the freeway and was surprised but also cool to see their spot. I’m not familiar with socal at all but they outside of SD in El Cajon.

Of course excited to be back in the rig tomorrow and rowing the zf5

This trucks first time with a front driveline!
Swapped the Dana 60 in a few months ago and then I just put a 4wd zf5 in today

And by the way for the guys saying that an 085 fits on a zf5 great with just cutting the ear off is lying I had a hell of a time with the uppipe

But thankfully I’ve already made my own down pipe so that’s was easy

before and after cleaning and applying some dye to freshen them up. Then I had to bypass the memory module to get the power function to work on the driver side. There is more wiring in this seat than my old camaro had

what are those seats out of
They are out of a 2014 F150 Limited. The Ford color on them is called Marina Blue. It comes real close to matching the blue interior of my truck. I was going to try and repair my seats but they are so far gone and broken it easier to get these and clean them up. I am going to have to do a little surgery on the mounting but I think I have a plan. I will keep it up dated. I was able to use the power supply for the old seat lumbar control to run the all the adjustments on the seats. Getting the seat heaters and cooling working looks like it might be a difficult task though because the head unit out of the donor truck controlled them. Everything I can find so far cost more per seat just for aftermarket operators than the entire interior

I have been keeping an eye for newer seats because my old bench seat is so broken down you sit on the metal frame. I would really like to switch to bucket seats, but so far all the newer seats around me, people want $1000+ for and they need work. I will be watching to see how it all works out for you.

I used my truck as a mobile work bench again today. I got to do so while trying out my new toy. I finally got the branches cut back away from the power line to my house. I was really impressed by the way it worked too. I only paid $80.99 for it on A m a z o n and it would probably have cost me twice that to get a tree service to do what trimming I did. Yes there's still some little branches that could fall on the power line, but the bigger ones that could do damage are now on the ground. I included a before picture from after the tree died last year and an after from today.

Oh good, it's not just here that people want gold for garbage.
It really amazes me sometimes what people are asking for absolute junk and then you see it still listed months later. Like you could have sold it in a week if you weren't greedy and would actually take what it is worth.
Seats seem to be among the worst offenders here. There will be a pristine set of 2024 F350 limited seats front and rear listed for $3000 and the next listing is torn stained broken down '99 seats front only for $2000. Its weird.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Moved project little foot (white truck) from in front of the shop to the side yard. It moves, but fuel line (fuel pump to filter) had pinhole and was leaking. Moved back to back to in front of the shop and fixed with spare I had squirreled away. Never can have to many parts... Then ran out of fuel. Still in front of the shop, I'll call it a win. I'll get fuel tomorrow. Maybe put the fuel tank switch in the brown truck this weekend.
