Got the steer tires balanced too. Passenger side took like 10oz to balance! That might have been my wobble!

Hauled some drywall for a buddy of mine.

Then I replaced what was left of the rubber isolator around my carrier bearing....

Gotta love what the Texas heat does to rubber.... It's still better than what our lovely NYS road salt does to steel!

Funny, now I don't have 1" of side to side play in my driveshaft.

Finally got around to swapping out the engine bracket I stripped. I learned my lesson, this time I ran every single bolt down finger-tight before touching it with a tool. Nothing broke, stripped out, or demanded a blood sacrifice from me, so I think I win this round :D

Truck died on me heading into work today. 5:30am in the rain and I find out my filter wiggled its way off AGAIN! Luckily I had a qt of ATF in the truck. Primed it and put it back on.

Think I'm going to get a hose clamp and some tie wire as a safety so it doesn't do that again. VERY frustrating.

Extended the steering shaft to make up for the 3" body lift.

My god.How many pages back was this thread! How did that happen lol.Had to give up and search!:D

Well, poor old chip truck needs some love. The fuel light flickers and stay on,under load on the rear tank (verified bad selector valve) her front brake pads are down to bare metal and grinding lol and the radiator is leaking so bad,it's mostly all just distilled water in there and at idle it's steaming so much,it looks like it's almost overheating.

Guess what I'm doing this weekend?:D ........It ain't camping.:( ......Well,actually,if I get on it,I should have a new rad tossed in,pads on and the tank selector swapped in just a few hours.I just might find the time to go unwind a bit too.

So you're saying I'm in good company!

haha....Yeah.Kinda.Only mine is plug and play as the first one failed (I had gunk in my rear tank plug it.No fault of it's own) and so this time,no re-wiring to replace it.You'll have to get out the meter and have a bit more fun than I will.:D

We'll both be getting the diesel shower though.LOL
