Yep, Danielle dropped the Centurion off for a burgundy ass transplant and yesterday I got a seat for Corey. BOOB action in full force.

I used mine and my 18' car trailer to help a young couple move most of their bigger things. Of course they didn't have any fuel money, but that didn't matter. He's from Phoenix and she'd be collecting social security if they waited for her dad to help.

Did the water pump... It would have been a breeze if I had done it before. Make sure you use the right tools. It came down to a big pair of channel locks and a crowbar.

On Saturday night I broke my shift cable in the middle of a local area meet of about 500 vehicles, and had to get my brother to lay on the ground to shift for me so i could get home!

Coated my new exhaust manifolds and cured in a heat treat oven at work. Primed, painted and satin clear coated. Bolted one on the engine, trying to finish the rest of the exhaust this week.

Scored at the junkyard, got a fuse holder and some wiring for my 3G swap.

Also scored a dome light from a Taurus. When I bought the truck it didn't have one.

Grand total of $6 for a dome light, fuse and holder, plus the 3G pigtail and power lead from a 2000 F150. I'm going to call that a deal!

I am building a core ZF for the 4x4, figured I better weld up the crack before any further assy.
I forgot what a pita it is to weld old oily aluminum.

Did some serious grinding with a carbide to cure porosity. Put a bigger tungsten in and now it's all done except for sanding the starter hole face.

Finally replaced the vacuum pump pulley that some PO bent. Now my belt doesn't flop around nearly as bad. Had to pull the diaphragm off to get it so I drained and refilled the oil in it too.

Got my 3G alternator installed. I didn't think to check before the swap but I'm getting 14.56v at the starter solenoid now.

On another note, if anyone knows the part number for the Goodyear razorback v belt for the alternator on my 91 please PM me. Only goes around the water pump, crank, and alternator.

Chillman, what is a 3g swap?

Swapping out your alternator for a Ford 3G (3rd Generation) alternator. There are models available that offer MUCH higher output and they are designed better (not a fire hazard like the older generations).
