i still have it, not gonna scrap it for a while either.
i will be getting rid of the entire frame.
but my SD frame swap isnt quite ready, yet.

to the OP, i would really be looking at a F350 frame swap.
dealing with these TTB's are no fun IMO.
i wont drive a truck with one.

but, if you wanted this one, come help me pull it, and oki this d-44 i have in the front, and its yours.

"Total loss" to an insurance company is only a monetary thing. They shouldn't have any authority to change the title status of the vehicle. Unless the state has given insurance companies pretty broad powers (and knowing the People's Republic of CA, that wouldn't be surprising), they shouldn't even be handling the title. Again CA may be different (it often is...), but I've done this with two vehicles, one in WI and one in MI, and the insurance company only dealt with the dollars. The title status never changed.

insurance companies have the power to do so here.
i cant complain tho, i scored a 02 F350 DRW for a grand, because it was stolen, engine and trans removed,
then recovered.
title was changed to "non-repairable" in other words, its a junk slip.

Of course, a desk jockey in a big pyramid (count the multiple meanings...) in SF and a politicrat in Sacto are eminently more qualified to deem what is "non-repairable" than any poor slob turning a wrench, right?

Fah, we're no better. I walked the state Capitol grounds coming to work yesterday; pouring rain, and the lawn sprinklers were running. It's half mud today.

Sorry; /rant......

I would suggest a 60 swap...after frame is checked.

I just did it and frankly i doubt the springs for ttb would work well.

There is no need to drill holes for track bar they should be there already.

Dont forget pitman arm too.

Get whole package and it is a super easy bolt in...

Good luck
