smoke on start up until op. temp.

Alright when i start my truck it smokes heavy white smoke until the motor warms up and it stops, just did injectors and returns, the pump is 6-7 years old you think the pump is worn and or out of time and causing the problem?

Timing being retarded will cause white smoke. Air in fuel will do the same but you would know if you had that going on.

My truck is the same way as yours. It smokes some even at idle after its warm and been ran down the road. It has decent power and gets good fuel mileage though but the IP leaks and most likely needs replaced.

Cool yea thats kinda what i figured, but after warm up mine pretty much completly quits smoking, but man on warm up it looks like a freakin mosquito smogger or a Raid bomb going off in a house lol

Doesn't white smoke indicate water?

not always, it can inidacte fuel as well, the smell pretty much gives it away, and white smoke because of coolant would be constant not just on warm up most likely.
