Ford ones are plastic. As I recall
^^^ THIS ^^^^ Pump slow to allow the bubbles to percolate up. Buying preseal unit is best, but this is how I bleed them. Bench bleed masters and pre install pin part of the way so you can just press it in to seal it up. As I recall, slave was just quick change while fluid is running out (do it fast before bowl empties) and pre install pin like the master. Good times. BTW: don't cut the plastic retaining strap on the slave till it's attached. This keeps the cylinder pressed in so there not a cylinder full of air yoiu have to bleed out.The best way that I've found to bleed the clutch is to just pump the pedal until you can't pump it anymore. Literally. I'll start out using my hands. When the pedal starts to return on it's own, and is getting stiffer, then it's time to start using my feet. Both arms and legs will feel like they're ready to fall off by this point, but it works.
If you can get the truck moved, and don't want to buy a complete set up, you can order the line that Russ sells. I haven't tried this yet, but it's supposed to make the bleeding A LOT easier than using the stock set up. I do REALLY want to try this someday and I probably will.
