Got 2 almost brand new 238-85-16 goodyear wrangler silent armor, them and two more tires i got here are going on the back of the dually get my rpm down and give me a little more traction than my worn out 215-85-16's

One question, is it ok to run 235-85-16 in back and 215-85-16 up front?

It should be fine to run those front and back, I assume its 2wd? Last year i found a brand new firestone transforce AT laying on the side of the road, and my exact size!

If it's 2wd, then I don't see a problem with running a bigger tire on the back.

Yep its 2wd, im trying to get slightly bigger and more agressive tires on back that will help me out a little better, when i get enough i plan on running 235-85-16 all the way around

With locking hubs, there is no harm in running mis-matched sizes even on a 4x4, so long as the hubs are only ever locked in when in an off-road situation and only shifted into 4x4 when absolutely necessary.

Cruising along on the blacktop, with hubs un-locked and shifter in 2WD, no harm can come from front tire size differing from rear tire size.

If it's 2wd, then I don't see a problem with running a bigger tire on the back.

Heck, I don't recall ever running the same size front and rear tires on any 2wd vehicle of mine - rears were always wider or taller or both. The only exception is my dually, cause I got 235/85-16s in the rear and the wider 265/75-16s in the front, for the extra 400 lbs more load capacity per front tire.
