I just ordered the 3 inch tubing kit with 6 90 degree bends and the blue connector hoses. Dont get the kit with hoses, use something good they will work but I will be carrying spares, kinda stilff and cheap feeling. Tubing looks great, shiny polished aluminum

Usually the import IC's are on the small side. Maybe if you could find a way to stack 2 or 3 of them in parallel you might be onto somethin  LOL

There's a lot more than just the size to consider. If you watch those auctions, you'll see that some are worth more than others. There's a good reason for that. Those cheapies are less effcient and more restrictive. Watch for HKS and Spearco. Just a couple of better brands.

I also looked into this, I gave a dealer all my info, (engine size, rpm range) and I was told that our trucks require an intercooler with around 1000cfm of airflow. I plan to buy one myself and piece it together, I located on on Ebay that would fit in my bumper opening. I would check to see if they know the cfm rating before you buy it.

measure of air flow into and out of an engine (CFM = CID x RPM x VE ÷ 3456).
The factory turbo has a VE of 1.2 or so figure a better flowing intake and bigger downpipe and exhaust I guesstimated it at 1.4 . 444 CIDx 3300Rpmx1.4divided by 3456= 593 cfm I tow at 2300 in Od so this is only 413 CFM and might get her up to 3000 if I have to come out of Od on a grade. So I was thinking a IC in the 600 Cfm range would be all I need ? Is my Ve estimate off or somthing else wrong with this formula ? Seems kinda low but the math makes sence?

He did the math so quickly I bet it is right on or close, I ask my son about some of his calculations and he gives me the look, he is going to college for chemical engineering.
I bought a 6.0 IC on ebay for 134 plus 24 for shipping and the guy sent the tubes also ;Sweet . It looks brand new.
