Okay, I have one more day to get my clutch/ flywheel replaced. Transmission is out.
I can't get the clutch bolts out. Tried two bolts and started to round them off. Tried a 20V cordless impact and no go. Tried again with a 3/8" ratchet that had a 1/4" adapter for the socket and broke the adapter. Can't get those dang bolts loose. Need suggestions!

worst comes to worst, you have a new fly wheel, right?
if so, cut them f'rs off!
ive always used a 1/2" drive 9/16 socket to get the pressure plate off.
did you PB blaster them?

They probably have some loctite on them.get your hands on one of those little burns o matic torches you can get at walmart, auto parts stores and every hardaware store.get the mapp gas cylinder instead of propane.

Just heat the bolts up a little, youre not looking to heat till they turn red hot.make sure youre using 6 point sockets,12 points suck and will round bolts and nuts before you know whats going on.

I started with a 12 pt. and switched to the 6 pt, that's why I had a 1/4" drive socket. My 3/8" socket for that was the 12 pt.

Now, I can't get the flywheel bolts off, even with the air impact. Am I missing something or is it a straightforward process?

straight forward, use map gas to burn the loctite out

i put a c-clamp on the fly wheel to keep it from spinning, and a 6 point socket and a breaker bar
