No. It says turn it over by hand. You also have to stop at the timing damper mark. I doubt you’ll do that turning the key.

I don’t think you should pull the glow plugs for a leak down test. That a lot of removing and installing.

I'll have to remove one plug at a time at least. You need to do so to attach the leak down tester. I just cant seem to find anywhere where it tells me exactly how to rotate the engine manually.

You use a 15/16" socket on a half inch ratchet. Put the socket on the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer on. You'll probably have to find the right combination of extensions, but it's fairly easy to do unless you use a short ratchet.
