So here is my totally rebuilt turbo painted in ford blue along with the air intake pipe 3" flared at the end to accept on afe filter. New bearings and all that on the turbo, the waste gate was set in the shop at 11 psi but i still only get just above 9 on the road will try turning it up some more. Above 2700 rpm it surges??? boost goes down to like 5 or 6 till 3 grand. Why?? I havent turned up the fuel screw yet so that's next.

Yeah forgot to take that bracket out but i have some more paint left over, but no sandblaster now so not really a priority at the moment. Next is to turn up the fuel.

turn up the fuel. keep a eyeball glued to the pyro.
You're undoubtedly capable of boosting more.
I have mime set at 8psi. I regularly see 4-5psi with 800deg at the pyro. this is running a 7-10% hill in 5th @65-75 mph with a 10k gross load. Your load and hill will influence your boost but not as much as what fuel will do.
