I've put some work into my F250 extended cab truck since I've owned it, and I like it a lot. However, I'd really like to find a 92-94 F350 CC XLT Lariat 4 X 4 with a bad engine or tranny so I could swap in a Cummins. I know, I know, that's heresy here and I should be burned alive at the stake. :D
BUT, the time is not right and I don't have room for another vehicle. I've been eyeing this, and I think it's a reasonable price. Since I'm not going to be buying it, I figured someone here may be interested:

The link is dead, but I assume this was the $1000 12v that was for sale in Portland? I'm sure it sold, if I had room it would be in my carport!

It was a link to a first-gen Cummins for sale in Vancouver. The guy wanted $1099 for it. It was still in the truck complete. Seemed like a reasonable price.

heck...
there's a gen 1 4x4 truck for sale down here for $1500:eek:

I need a link, Calvin! :D

I have trouble taking an engine out of a good running truck. It makes me sad, like throwing away an old pair of boots after they are all broken in and comfortable. I know, I know: death of one species makes new life for another.
