Anyone know what leaf spring size is in the rear of 85 f350 single cab dually? Mine broke and leafs are missing somewhere on the roadway hahaha. I'm just looking for stock. I don't tow heavy and everything I see is tow heavy forums. Thank you for helping

Look up the spring code on the sticker on the "b" pillar. It will tell you what you need.

Is this telling me the rear spring is a code A and that would mean a 5560 spring?

I would buy a pair with a weight rating suitable for your usage.

The fit is the same for f250/350 so long as its for a pickup. Cab & chassis springs are different (narrower).

I noticed axis lengths are different and some say duel rear and single. Mine is only 2wd but dually. And never tow more than 3k I'd assume. Maybe 4 if I'm towing someone to their house. So I'm thinking the 10 leafs. I appreciate the time. I just want to make sure I'm spending my money wisely on the right thing.

Although the ones for 175 look about like what's on it now. Hard to tell as I've lost a piece or two when the old one broke pulling out of a parking lot. 10 leaf sounds thick

Cab & chassis springs dont fit a pickup. Pickups need 3" wide leafs, not 2.25".

Hi in the Cascades, Nearly- Redmond,Oregon
On my '90 LBCC dually, my '86 single wheel, my '88 single wheel, as well as both U-Hauls, & my other Fords they are all 3" wide.
My '85 CCLB Dually Chev has IIRC 2 1/2" wide rear springs.
Don't remember without going out to look how many leaves on them all.
10 leaf sounds like a lot, unless they counting overload leaves.

6 leaf seems good but the 4200 Load rate. That will stiffin the ride pretty good? But they will last much longer. Correct? Also the title says 3.5 but the specs say 3in width. What do I assume?

You said you dont tow heavy. Do you still have the factory pickup box?

I'd probably choose a lighter spring for comfort, and supplement with an airbag if your needs change.

Air bags really help, not so much to carry more weight, but will stabilize the truck when carrying a load.
My rear springs are tired, and when the car trailer is connected, the rear end drops a bunch.
Pump them up to 15lbs, and levels it out.
I installed Fire Stone bags. easy to install, just don`t use Harbor Freight Drill bits. Garbage. You want to drill the hole not eventually wear the hole through the steel.

I followed this guys YT Vid on how to install them.
