According to the link I gave in post #7, an axle code 73 had 5.13 gears in 1996-->2000. A 73 had 4.30 gears in 2002. Both groupings are conventional non-posi.

But your sig block says it's an '84. I don't show a 73 for 1984.

Maybe you have a one-off model.:rotflmao

My 83 f250 has an axle code of 31 which doesn't show up on a lot if charts
. But I finally googled it and came up with 3.07.

My door jamb tag says E2. 4.10 limited slip. Honestly, safe top speed with t19, around 45 miles an hour. Makes sense for towing a lighthouse, but for the engines' sake, I need to lower my rpms. What a beast!

what do you mean by one-off model? and I'm so confused what happened with the truck. ill put up pics of the beast so you all can see.

My 1984 FSM which has all the identification codes listed in it doesnt even show a 73 axle code:dunno

the song is quite fitting Gandalf. I do truly wonder what I have.I love the truck but it seems like its slapped together from the factory
