What's that? ,That don't go to transmission does it?

Wish I had anther e4od I detest the zf5 almost as much as driving a chevy.
The 2 tps's I got from Ford for my E40d I could never get right. The cheap amazon worked great. Get your voltages correct or it will never shift right.
One of the other problems I found was the shifter switch on the transmission was adjusted wrong on my other truck and after adjusting it the problem was corrected.

The "plug" next to the oil cap (screws into the timing cover) is a tach sensor. It can be tested by removing and checking with an ohm meter. Should be 2000 - 3000 ohms. I've had to replace mine twice. When bad, trans goes into limp mode and/or shifts erratically. Cost is about $50. Dorman part # 926-323. I ordered mine through Autozone ($10 off and lifetime warrantee so won't be paying for the next one if it goes bad). Good video about this here:
