Racor fuel filter

When I first got my truck I switched the fuel filter to a racor. The one with the water seperator on the bottom. I dont recall what number.

My question is... are these worth 36.00 a pop or should I just get something else?

Its not very convenient to get them either I always have to get them online. It would be nice to just go down the street to the parts store.

Opinions please.

I use Wix 33674 for diesel and Wix 33352 for wvo - Wix sells a remote filter head for them that costs like $25.00 - the filters can be had as low as $3.00...

Check your thread size and find another filter to fit it, you're most likely 1-12 or 1-14...

i have a racor, i was able to cross my # at napa. $36? hell i pay $35 for a stock wix filter for the 7.3! i think the racor crossover is about the same.
