Man being gone for a month at a time sucks.

The list the mrs gave me before I got home:
1. VW is defueling randomly and generally sucks
2. Lawn Mower doesn't work
3. Septic System back up, she fired up a neighbors backhoe and discovered entire drain field is clogged with roots.
4. diesel truck is dead

I got home a few days ago,
1. We did a road trip to Orlando (6hours from home) where I found a shop that'd let me work in it.... found vacuum hose to VW turbo was split... replaced it.
2. Fixed lawn mower... had to rebuild starter and clean/reset ignition junk as it was rusted.
3. Been raining, so I haven't replaced the drain field on the septic yet.
4. Diesel truck battery's are dead.... plus I stepped on the clutch and blew out the quad ring on the master cylinder, it's toast....

so the question is!
Where the hell can I get one of these ***** rings? or at least does anyone have the size/name of it so I can order it from McMaster?
I tried to find one locally a few years ago and everyone looked at me funny when I mentioned what I was looking for.

thanks,
Drew

Drew, it sounds like you've got a nice "honey-do" list there. I don't know the dementions of that particular ring, but I bet you can find it on this site and they seem to be pretty cheap.

Hydraulic Warehouse

Hope that helps.

Remember it must be brake fluid compatible.
