Thanks a ton for putting this all out there, I love the way you've experimented and reported your findings, I had no idea you could do all this with a IDI. Your fuel system explanations are gold, I can really picture it's workings now.
IDK what the future might be for my motor, gonna keep it stock for the most part I think, at least at first till the whole truck is shipshape. I'll sure be hitting you up about some of your reliability mods like the coolant plugs and your GP wire set when I make it that far. Thx again for sharing all this!

126mph ain’t bad for an idi lolWell after 40k miles of driving in the rain and sun, the alt has passed away. Took a spare alt of the shelf and bolted it in place and we have charging again, even at idle. Few days ago we had a cold morning with a crazy DA, it was around -1700 ft below sea level and in the 30s, which at 1300 ft elevation where im at makes a big difference, heres a clip rolling into it on a dead highway with no **** or nitrous. 3.55s, 33" tire and zf5 if anyone wants to calculate mph at 3500 rpms in 5th...xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
if I punch it under 40 mph it just roasts the tires from a roll without any nitrous or ****
No the intercooler is still leaking, it’s got oil seeping down the end tanks. Still a stock junkyard ip and turbo too.
I can't spin the tires unless I'm in first on gravel but 200k on a set of injectors isn't helping either!
I'm looking forward to seeing some numbers when you finally get it on the dyno!
So you're making 16-18 with a leaking intercooler? Or did you fix that too?
