Wow looks a lot easier than it was removing from the van
So much room….
Couldn't get the tranny separated from the engine, so I removed the t-case then pulled the transmission and engine out together. Easily done by myself. And yes, there's tons of room.

Now I have to figure out how to separate the tranny from the engine outside the truck.

Maybe a little heat near the dowels?
Tried heat, but didn't help. Right pin was free, but left was stuck badly, so I ordered a set of plastic felling wedges and started jamming them in the right-side and top gap. When I saw a small gap open around left pin, I cut several cypress wood wedges (similar to door shims) and jammed a couple of these above and below the pin. Now I shot in Kroil, RemOil, and WD40 then banged more on the shim-style wedges. I had the tranny securely mounted to a little wheeled platform I built so I began kicking the tail end of the tranny. This finally did it. Not surprisingly, the left pin stuck inside the transmission case instead of the engine.

I've drilled a small hole through the back side of where the dowel goes into the transmission and used a punch from the back side to remove it. Maybe not the best idea, but it works.
