Used Eastwood rust encapsulator on the hard to reach and usually rust probe areas. Then onto the black on the box and cab!!

That is ****. Wish mine were that far along. So you used the rust encapsulator and not the internal frame coating stuff or you used both?

Looking really good, Jon. ;Sweet

I like the fixed grease whip for the TO bearing. That's a great idea.

What kind of rear axle is that? It looks huge.

Thanks! The internal I used inside double panels. The black stuff came in a quart can. I used a undercoat gun with the nozzle set on a concentrated spot shot and got in the areas I knew the black wouldn't get.

Upon closer inspection of the pic where the rear axle is visible, it looks like there's a lid from a plastic tote leaning up against it. I thought you had thrown a Dana 80 under it. LOL

Okay, so it's more of a paint like the POR 15 type stuff only eastwoods flavor? That's what it looks like from the pictures.

Doors, fenders, inner fenders, and 2 hoods at sand blast. Also picked up a NOS tailgate from Mike Moore. Making progress... Slow progress.

Got all the metal back from blast. The hoods need work, doors are all good but one little hole that needs a patch, inner fenders and fenders are perfect. Got a hood coming to me from Oregon, picking up at nationals. Thinking these are good hoods for someone that's just using the truck on a farm, or isn't getting crazy with body work.

Cut the latch mount area out to swap and use the old style. That was not easy to cut perfect metal, but the plasma cutter made quick and easy work.
