Thanks...what did you do different? I used the "embed link" and it worked on the IH forum.
I'm not sure how you did it in the original post, but it's showing up with HTML coding for a frame, as opposed to a video embedding. I copied the URL and opened it up and it played as a full-screen video. After that, I went to my history on YouTube and got the "proper" URL (with "watch" instead of "embed"), then clicked the "Insert Video" link at the top of the message editing window, pasted the URL, clicked "OK", and it showed up.

Did you copy the code directly from your post on the IH forum? Maybe there's enough of a difference that that's what caused it?

Very nice work. ;Sweet

For some reason, every post before #250 has small square boxes with x's in them where the pics you posted should be. Did something happen to those pictures?

Been a while since I posted last. Been busy and haven't been on my computer much. Downloaded a forum app, let's see how it works.

Body work began, some iffy sand blasting done so I took it back to get straightened out.

While unloading the cab one of the blocks was tipped on the stand I made, well the cab slipped and crushed my thumb.....

Enough with the gore... back to the truck!

Got the transmissions back. Painted the 5 speed. There was no bearing available for the DT-OD Spicer so I'm having a friend make a bushing from oil impregnated bearing bronze.

Bought some Eastwood supplies to coat inside the rockers and cab corners, any double panels I could get into.

Hoping to keep steady progress now! Next step is get the transmission in and the body on the frame and keep the body work going.

Nice work on the cab corner! ;Sweet

That is a gnarly thumb break!

I must have missed something...

1. You're running two transmissions?

2. What was the DT-OD Spicer out of?

3. Where did you get a hunk of oil-impregnated bronze that large?

One transmission. It's a Spicer overdrive 5 speed from a fire truck. Was behind a Detroit diesel. I don't think it was available behind the DT series as there's no bearing available. I got that little chunk off McMaster carr for $70.

Nice..... except the whole thumb thing.....

I was thinking about doing the same thing with the internal frame coating stuff. What was your initial impression of it? I know it is too soon to know if it really worked well or not.

Clutch install action... hopefully installing the transmission next, as soon as I figure out where I put the clutch fork....

My friend Brandon did some lathe action to get the bushing out of the bronze.
