Say, if possible you may want to bolt it back up to the engine before you weld on it. I'd be a little worried it would warp if you didn't...

I think thats a good plan, I dropped my tig torch so Ive got some parts for that in the mail.

Trans came back from the shop, it was still running on the aluminum planetaries and definitely had some burnt up clutches. Its now all updated to the latest specs, shift kit and a billet converter.

My turbo kit came from R&D. Quality is fantastic and I can't wait to get this thing running. Got the manifold drilled for the EGT probe, wall thickness is solid. Even though the manifolds are ceramic coated Im gonna wrap them, along with the down pipe. Im also putting a turbo blanket on there. Should keep the heat at bay a little.

Well this project is rapidly ***********.

Picked up a like new 2014? Ram truck set of seats and console. Fronts were pretty simple to get in, but the rear is gonna be some more fab work but will be doable. Im really excited to have a fold up rear seat. Also I deleted the factory usb port and 12v port from the ram center console. Decided to go with fast charger and new 12v port. They will be both always on, so no need to have the key on to charge a phone.

Looks good!

I’ll be honest here, when I read “well this project is rapidly ***********” and glanced down to see 12v as in 12 valve Cummins I about spit my drink out.

Anyone know what this part is called and where I could order one?

Its the plastic clamp that holds the AC line to the firewall

Probably the dealer. They can bring up pictures and diagrams.
I checked LMC, didn't see it.

Working on getting my switched done while Ive got the interior out.

For now its going to be high idle, bed lights, mirror heaters, and accessory power for controlling the inverter.

More slow progress, heads are assembled and on the short block, front suspension is off the truck and will hopefully be back on by the middle of next week.

Maybe it will be driving by Christmas lol
