Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Wish I could roadtrip! Would need a capable vehicle though which was the motivation behind this truck. Current daily tops out at about 80 km/h and is tiny.
Southern vehicles are basically the holy grail, I've never seen a vehicle here older than 2 or 3 years without rust.

Main difference seems to be the lower hoop, there's definitely a difference between the gas and diesel ones, AFAIK no aftermarket company makes the diesel ones correctly. Not sure if a PSD one will fit properly. If not that makes it even harder to find as brick specific stuff is almost nonexistent.
Just looking at pictures of them it doesn't look to be too extremely hard to fab up for someone who's good at that kinda thing.
Couple complete ones out of AL on the ebay, about $700ish though.

*EDIT*
After poking around a bit on craigslist in Cali I may be way farther ahead to get rid of this one and just buy a good one from down there. They're cheaper/the same price and aren't full of holes!
