On average, what should a decent paint job, primer, paint, and clear cost?Ballpark average?And anyone know of anyplace round dallas fort worth area worth checkin out?Thanks

Depends on the condition of the body, how much body work needs done (if your going to have them do the body work). It also depends on what kind of truck you have, it would be cheaper for a regular cab short bed compared to a extended cab long bed.

FWI, my paint job cost me $3300...Body work, primer, paint, clear coat (3 coats base, 2 coats clear). Maaco did it, got the most expensive package...

Yeah, if you can get a decent looking complete for under much 3500 I'd be surprised. So ballpark yourself 3-4K for the job.

Yep, That's just paint and materials cost for a decent quality paint, Spent over $600 in materials on my brothers Kawasaki tins for top quality custom paints. I used to get $1500 - $2000 for a pickup 20 years ago.

PPG black base 2 coats
PPG pure gold base 2 coats
PPG Indy kandy green 6 coats
PPG Urethane clear 5 coats
Green gold flip flop pearl flake in the first 3 coats of clear
