so I found a couple of intake snails on e-bay, and picked both of them up.
I only need 1
figured that one of you may need it.
they wont be in till next week, but make me an offer!

correct.. OEM parts, so for the 093, but will fit 088?
Looking at the diagrams for both the 093 and 088, they're mirror images of each other...so, no, an 093 snail will not fit an 088 turbo or vice-versa.

Here's a picture of an 088 snail installed:

And, here are both diagrams:

Can you shoot me a price with shipping to 45373? USPS flat rate box should work. I know you say make offer but I have no clue what to offer.

For what its worth, you can rig up either to a banks, just gotta make an additional pipe if you dont hook up an IC. Water to air on top of the engine would be easiest :sly

I just welded up an aluminum pipe 2", rolled bead on one side. Used a 2-2.5" adapter boot from silicon intakes i think. But eventually want to swap it to intercooled

I step in line for it if it can be connected to pipe via a rubber boot. Getting tired of the factory N/A filter housing being in the way. How much did you give for them?

Thanks for the info ;sweet

I've looked at those ones before. I'd like to find something with a 3" inlet but one of those may just be the ticket for my N/A engine.

thats gonna be a custom job.
you can always run the dual feed hat and run 2 air filters.

even the ATS runs a 2" outlet from the turbo

Thought about that too. I can weld thicker steel (arch welder) and had an idea to pick up some 5 1/8" steel tube and 3" tube and make my own. Maybe notch the top enough to clear turbo piping for future use. Still have to source materials where I won't have to buy a 1-4' stick of pipe for it :D

if youre planning on running an ATS 093 kit, it will not work.
i had the same issue with my aftermarket finned turbo hat.
had to go back to the stock snail.
the turbo on the pedestal wont let aftermarket ones fit.

That's why I'm keeping the idea of fabbing one in my back pocket, especially since I'm no where near being able to go turbo yet. Thanks for the info!
