One last timing ?

A good friend bought a 93 with an idi. He wants me to check the timing. Is it gonna be the same as on my 89. I think i had it around 9.5, ill do a search and know for sure what my timing was. Jus wanna make sure that a 93 will be the same as an 89 when it comes to timing.

Yes absolutely the same as your old truck. All IDIs are 8.5*BTC +-2* at 2000 RPM with the pulse method or 1.5-3.5* ATDC @1400 with pulse by the book. I pushed mine over to about 0* ATDC with pulse though since I'm running B100 (High Cetane/lower BTUs/Unit and slower burn rate)
