oil leak into compressor housing?

I finally decided to check and see if my turbo was at fault for some of my oil consumption. I completely cleaned the compressor housing, and within 15 minutes of fast idling the oulet was oily, not quite dripping, but plenty oily. My question is that if some oil is ok, or is any a bad sign.

Not 100% sure but iirc any is a sign of shaft seal leakage. Are you sure it isnt oil from the cdr??

I ran it with out the air filter hooked to the turbo

Probably is a shaft seal on the turbo then. If you are running a CDR it may let a small amount in if you have a lot of blowby but with no CDR it should be zero.
