New exhaust

My 88 has been a stock exhaust w/out a muffler. It was fun at first but it has been getting old. Today went yarding and found a complete exhaust off a 95 powerstroke. It still had factory clamps and muffler. After a few fun hours the test drive was better then hoped for. Smoother running and a much better exhaust tone. I still have the other toys that have loud exhaust but an extended cab doesn't need to be so loud.

Complete, like exhaust manifolds too? I read today that they do not fit.

Sadly the psd exhaust manifolds wont fit our engines. The cylinder spacing is off too much.

I actually read another post where you said that after I posted this. I am going to weld a tube between the ports to make them fit so I can use the factory up pipes.

Nope... Not me. Thats not the way to make a psd manifold fit our engines...

I think you misread it...you posted on another post that they did not fit. Read that after posting the question on this. Also, you could make them fit on the driver's side that way, but the pass side is a flat manifold that sucks. Too much time and effort involved, I am going to try to sell/trade the entire system for one matched for our engines.
