My 97 not runing right

MY 97 psd is iddleing bad after it been shut off and starts hot it will run ruff and then die and surg going down the road driveing slow I have changed the cps and it still did noting any ideas?

First thing I'd do is elimate some obvious causes. Have you recently changed your fuel filter and cleaned your FUEL REGULATOR SCREEN ? If fuel filter is black you could have a bad o-ring problem. Read THIS . Air filter clean? Try swapping out another IDM (injector drive module located outward of brake booster)from a similar PSD. If once wet, they will no longer work as well. Try an injector cleaner. I use Stanadyne performance formula. Have the truck scanned. Here are the 1997 CODES . Check out Baz's WEBSITE and go to tips and tricks. You may find some good info there.

it could be possible the CPS was bad out of the bag but I dont think so

have you go and had a look at all the eltric conection to see there tight

well it was the IPR that was bad on the truck
