Hi,

Actually it's very hard to find a fuel filter for my 7.3 IDI ( E350, limited space under the hood!). All the US filter brands don't do business in Germany.

Here's mostly " Mann" filter available, who don't have US cars on their list. Which doesn't necessary mean that they don't have something compatible, but you cannot figure out the part number at MANN.

I found a "Motorcraft FD-811 FP ". But I cannot get the engine it's compatible with!
I've seen another US brand that has the motor craft number as a replacement+ the 6.9 as compatible. This should mean that the motor craft is compatible too.

But this is a little too ' could be compatible' for me! I don't want to by twice.

Has anyone an info about that filter?

Has anyone an info about an European filter brand that fit s to my engine, like Mann filter, K&N?

Btw oil filters are easy

Hi, thanks.
Auto zone seams to only have stores in the US listed.
As far as I can see, the filter is one piece. No inlet, like on the PSD.

I checked eBay already of course, only offers from the US, which means the price for shipping is double the value of the filter

Could always change the filter setup to something more available.

I also thought about that too. Could make things easier in the future.

Thought I cannot believe that there is nothing compatible from EU brands.

Do you currently have the spin on bowl at the bottom?

I don't think so, I need to check. Truck is actually at the service.

Maybe I just take it off, measure it an check if the Motor craft one will fit. It's 108mm wide and 118mm long as I just figured out.
This one above is from the US.

On the mann website, I wasn't able to cross anything by using dimensions.
Do you know what all brands are carried?

I know. I will measure to see off the offer I have will fit to that.
They are very cheap, so if the dimensions are similar I will just try that.

Besides that. The car is from , if it's not the original one from 1993 (!) I can see what brand it is...
