1990 F-250 HD Supercab 4x4 7.3 N/A IDI, ZF, 3.55, long bed, all stock, 235/85/16, 147K.
Haven't had her for long but on my longest highway trip with cruise set at 60 mph running about 1875 rpms I got about 17 mpg empty. Around town I get more like 14-15 mpg empty (13 in winter). I have yet to try her with a heavy load, but very anxious to. My truck/engine all runs very good and has been well maintained and has new return lines. However, I think my stock and original injectors and IP are keeping my mpg down a bit. I think when I put in new injectors my mpgs should go up, hopefully to what some of you are seeing on your trucks. I'm jealous of 20 mpg highway I want to get that!! I drive fairly normal/easy also.

20 MPG combined is very good for a dually crewcab truck. Age alone is not reason enough to change the fuel system even if you are at 3 times the service life on paper. If its still running that well then I would keep things the same for as long as you can.

1990 crew cab long bed dually, 7.3L N/A, ZF5, 2wd, 235/85R16 tires, 4.10's if I read the rust, er, tag right. I get about 12 mpg in stop, go driving in town, but stupid high numbers for something that big doing a constant 65-70 mph on the highway. Needs new injectors, pump and lines. 160K+ on the odometer.

Brusier, with her 300 inline sixer and 6000-6400 lbs of truck gets about 15-16 average with 600K on the ticker and needing new rings (bottom end never opened up).

Just did my first trip with mine, to Trussville, AL, over to Morris, AL, and back home to Mobile. With cruise set at 80 I was still getting passed by all the other 4th of July travelers but averaged 16.5 mpg. The hills really didn't help. Had to watch the pyro constantly, as the cruise cares not about melting stuff.

I think this means I need to work on getting egts down.

My 1992 cclb 4x4 e4od sterling srw 10.25 with 3.55s has 346,400 stock tire height just wider. Peak mileage I have recorded was 24 on Valentine's Day this year from KC to Witchita. Average back and forth to work is 18-19. We went on a float trip south of Joplin and averaged 21 round trip a couple weeks ago. But I do notice it drop when the stations switch to summer fuel. The worst mileage I have gotten was 15 pulling a 16ft bumper pull stock trailer with 4 horses about 10k lbs. I am also running stock injectors unless the po painted them and they are wearing off like the rest around it.
