You can do better than 14 MPG, although your lift and tires are working against you. Is this a recent change in fuel economy? Are there many hills or stops along the way?

I'd love to get 14mpg! Depends on your gearing, if you have 4:10s I'd say that's pretty good mileage since you're 4x4. If you've got 3:55's I'd think you're in the ballpark but maybe slightly on the low side. I'm happy if I get 12/12.5 in town. Currently, I'm getting 11.5 in town, but I want to replace my IP and injectors.

I would agree about the 4.10s but if he is only going 55 MPH, he can do better than 14 MPG.

However...............your speedo will be off because of the taller tires unless you corrected that already.

I get 18-20 at 55 mph, engine speed is 1900 rpms. So just looking at the numbers I'd say you're quite a bit on the low side (nevermind the 4x4, it don't matter much once you unlock the hub and put the t-case in 2wd), but if you never corrected for the large tires your calculations are likely 1-2 mpg on the low side, so you may actually be getting 15-16 mpg, if not even better.

Those 35's are GOOD for milage. I've gotten in excess of 20MPG with the Moose Truck. 14 is low. You could do better with a fresh fuel system, and proper timing.
