I was burning a quart every 15-20 miles
Added a pint of lacquer thinner, a pint of diesel, a pint of isopropyl alcohol and a pint of acetone - - all into the crankcase at once.
Started the engine cold, and it smoked like HELLLL.... let it warm up to about 100* and shut it down.
Waited until stone cold and did it again - - 5 or 6 times.
It did get BETTER
Now I'm down to a quart every 50 miles - but I still think it's time to pull the engine.
