Mine with the old rims and tires. Bought the whole truck for $600, all it needed was an injector

Thanks. The previous owner thought it had a bad rod. He sent me a YouTube video of it, and I knew by the video it was a stuck-open injector. Bought it, idled down the street a ways, used a crescent wrench to swap in a used injector, good to go!

Still, I was over 100 miles from home, and it had a C6 with 4.10's! Took several hours to go that 100 miles at 3,000 rpm's

gonna look very different soon though. got a complete chrome grille guard w/o a ding in it at a junkyard in the city for $80 (retail $1100). spent a day polishing her up and it looks almost new. bigger lift / tires soon too, and I just put a toolbox on the back (can finally get all the **** outta the floor in the back)

I bought my first diesel just over two years ago, for $1500. A 1993 F250 4x4 XLT. I have since swapped the front dana 50 for a dana 60, converted from E4OD automatic to ZF 5 speed, and done a PILE of other modifications to it.

She don't look pretty, but I was never a pretty boy...so it suits me lol.

Well, here she is the day I brought her home....January 7, 2009.

About 3 months later, after I sold the plow I put on it.

And again last summer, doing what Ford diesels do best....pulling.

Last Summer at BigRigTech's place about 15 minutes after we did the Dana 60 front axle awap.

And just last Fall when I got her ready for the bi-annual safety inspection. All the bodywork was done, primered, new tires and a complete rebiuld on the front housing.

hah we have very similar idis goofy. you're ahead of me on the modifications though. i bought mine for $1500 fall 09 and have been slowly piecing it together. i'll have my zf5 swap soon, and after I put my bigger lift on I'll be getting a 60 front.

wish mine had cab lights like yours. one day i'll find a rust free ext cab to swap over, maybe i'll be able to find one with lights.

you've had a lot of different side view mirrors judging by those pics! you ended up going with xl mirrors? i like my power mirrors.

Here are a few of the trucks Ive got that are still running.

The red 89 extended cab is my puller, the rest are going to be cut up for other projects. I paid 950 for this one. The first two picks of mine were with 305/75s and wagon wheels. The bottom picks are 35s with 16x10 eagle alloys.

The bluish single cab is a 94 f250 factory turbo, I picked it up for 750

The red dually 4x4 has less than 100k, I found that for 950 with a rebuilt e4od and runs like a top.

The 1987 cc 6.9 with a 4 sp was found in Jacksonville for 700 and I think has a bad head gasket or valve.

and the white single cab cab n chassis 4x4 was 1k with a rebuilt motor, tcase and tranny.

They are all coming apart to build a cc 4x4 dually and an 89 f250 4x4.

I have a hard time passing up good deals. I think I may need a girlfriend lol.
