True haha the not 8 foot bed definitely helps there.
Fun story, we have a super steep hill that is the long part of an intersection like a capital T. The crest of the hill is so so so steep that to turn on the main road my idi crew cab creaks when it flexes over the ridge. Well a giant coal truck with the two extra weight axles came up if the other day with the axles down, and when it tried to go up it the back drive wheels floated in the air and he couldn't go forward and couldn't see behind him to back down either.
I waited and motioned him back so he couldn't back down some and pull the extra weight axles back in and lock the drive axles. He got up, but barely even with all of that.
This truck on Craigslist would never get up or down that hill, ever. When I first got the idi I never gave it a thought until midway through driving over it. There's a giant no bus sign up by it as well haha.
