i got the truck back together!! Its an 83 motor, but i removed the block heater plug, it had no sign of cracks around it either. i took it down the road and could only get like 5 psi max boost out of the hypermax pulse turbo? before with the 86 motor it would hit 12. I'm not sure what is going on there but at least i got it running!!!!

outside of putting in the older motor, did you switch over the IP and injectors off your bad motor? if you didn't, its time to turn up the feul screw

yes i put the new stuff on the motor, 8 new injectors,injection pump,alternator,waterpump,radiator. The screw is turned up preaty far, i think it is time for an intercooler.

last year without the turbo, i hope to be out of last place this year.

Great for you man, I have not got much than 7 psi on mine so can't comment on that.
