I'm the cotton swab
Just like the title says....
Take it off , take it to a stanadyne certified pump shop. THey can hook it up to a calibration machine and see if it is putting out up to spec, but call ahead, if you arent famialiar with the folks, i.e. a regular customer, it might end up costing you. and for the amount of work involved, if you are that suspicious , and if its got much over 100k miles on it, you may just be better off spending your money searching out another pump
Do you know how much they would charge to put new seals in it?
Mine runs and works fine, just leaks.
Where is your pump leaking from.. If its the advance piston on the drivers side.. Well then your pump is usually thought to be worn out.. How many miles are on the leaking pump..
