Yeah we had no idea either. I think you were supposed to go through both layers....but I don't know if Rick did that or not. It may not be a problem either since I have a fairly new Fel-pro valley pan. Well I at least hop your problem subsides.

Read the new turbo tech article I just put up. You only need to go throught he first layer if your oil flow test is good.
