My first question is why would some steal just one wheel...????

BUT, I've had something similar happen.... someone stole 3 rims & tires off our car trailer once and replaced the with their worn out POS tires. The trailer had 4 brand new tires. They took 3 and left one..... AND, they went ahead and tightened all the lugnuts down properly. Very considerate thieves I guess???

I didn't ask, didn't want to know. They said they'd made it right and they did. I drove off and don't plan on going back. Maybe an honest mistake, someone with a different dually dropped off their rims or what not. It IS busy there, 4 cars at a time, and **** going on all over the place. Or maybe a worker has the same wheels but bent one and was driving with a steelie and didn't want it anymore, who knows.

Whether it be changing a tire, having the washing machine fixed, swapping an engine, or having the septic-tank pumped, in the rare event that I don't just handle these things myself, whoever I have doing the work is someone I have known their entire life.

I know who and how many times they married; I know where they live and what they drive; I know their kids by name and their dogs.

I also know which ones to avoid.

On the same note, I also know every problem customer in ten counties and try to avoid them as well.

I just can't comprehend purposefully dealing with complete strangers.

I wish I knew EVERY body in Vancouver.
