I want to ditch my holley blue and buy the AirDog pumps but they dont have a clear answer on wich one for a 7.3 IDI so I am guessing the one for the Chevy 6.2 is a match?
I only want to buy this once, anyone else use AIRDOG pumps?
I am way too tired of air in my lines using what I built, time for new upgrades!

Whatever you get, get a fuel pressure gauge so that you know you are not sending too much to your pump... I believe that IDI injection pumps are a little touchy with incoming fuel pressure. It is also nice to see when you need to change filters. I went the FASS route instead of the Airdog but I cannot help with which model... sorry.

There is absolutely no need for a Fass/Aidog etc on an IDI, even the smallest one of them far exceeds what an IDI needs as far as flow in concerned.
I do greatly dislike the Holley pumps due to their using a dry motor and a shaft seal that likes to fail. However, if the pump is in good condition, there should be no reason for any issues with the fuel system. If you have air in the fuel, you have leaks somewhere. It's not the pumps fault.

Air Dog Pump Pressure

I called up Pure Flow Tech and talked to Toby Parks. He was knowledgeable and a nice guy. He said that the Airdog 100 for the early Duramaxs puts out between 6-8 psi and that is about as low as they go. I'm having Mel rebuild my pump and he said he could calibrate it to a higher inlet pressure.

I do agree with one of the above posts saying that these pumps are overkill, but I had one on my Dodge and it worked great. I like having the filters and the lift pump in one compact unit.
