Well,I have come to my senses today.The E and White Lightning are staying IDI.Waiting on a quote to have WLs original engine(short block since I can get ****** heads local) remanufactured by Promar(hey,can't argue with 75K/3 year deal and free shipping both ways!Plus they sleeve all 8 holes per their site).But,I am still looking at repowering a Ford with a Cummins.Just can't argue with the reliability and bombability of a 2nd gen 12 valve.Just that project will stay on the back burner till I dig myself outta all the current projects.Thinking of doing a Super Moosestang.Find a Bronco with a blown or missing gasser and drop a cummins in.Good thing about bama is no need to change the title.Or I could always make a monster outta an already monster truck and drop a 12 valve in the Martyr machine.........Ummm,that wouldn't be a good idea.She gets a little squirly at 60MPH and I can live with the 125 horses but 440 Lb/Ft of tq.

well,just got a quote for a short block rebuild.$2600 using my block,crank,and turbo spec rods.

Mahle turbo pistons will cost about $100.00 and if you need a cam ground I know a place that charges $35.00 for a grind. Make sure you replace the rear oil cooler header or rist low oil pressure on a new motor....
