I got 16.29 mpg!!

My highest ever! We took a weekend trip to Julian,ca. Traffic was terrible,we were stopped several times on the Fwy.probly averaged 30 mph.ac on. Then we have been short tripping around Julian.

I'm running 1oz of 2 stroke oil per gallon and 6oz of power service per tank. Filled up in Julian for the drive home but no PS for this tank.

So this was down the 15 from Hesperia area and then back up the hill. Yes, That was great mileage for that trip.

Old geezer reminiscing comment: Love Julian back in the day. In one of my past lives I worked as a mechanic on the Anza Borrego Desert State Park and lived on the W-W Ranch off the Grapevine Trail near Ranchita. In many ways, some of the best times in my life!

This morning was interesting. Its quite cool, birds are chirping, there's a fog and mist in the air.....then... Slam,slam! Click...taptap..rasa gaga gaga gaga! Lol

Came home via ocotillo wells to 86s. Had a terrible headwind. No visibility at times. Best I could muster was 67 mph. Set the cruise @58. Got 14.29mpg

went on a short 500 mile weekend drive myself!
altho i opted to take the SD, because a preggo woman trying to hop in my unfinished IDI is not the deal..lol
i averaged about 13 MPG lol
alot of 40 MPH up some gnarly roads to Fort Bragg CA
