Hey y'all,
I'm putting hydroboost on my 87 f250 with a 6.9 IDI. I ordered some power steering hoses from AutoZone for a 96 F350 with a PSD. The hose from the steering pump to the booster looks correct and fits in the booster, but the one going to the box has the wrong end. The hose has a female end on it, but so does the steering box. Is there a fitting that will adapt both of these together? Or is it better to get a different hose?

Thanks!

I don't know about a fitting, but I'd be taking that back. I don't know if the hoses changed from 87 to 96. Maybe you need to order one for your truck? I would recommend bringing along the picture of your steering box since most of those people only know what their computer tells them.

It's not for my truck. I'm retrofitting hydroboost into my '87.
